Christian Charity Vows To Remain In Afghanistan In Spite Of Murders

Dr. Karen Woo was murdered by the Taliban

The Christian charity, International Assistance Mission, has vowed to remain in Afghanistan, after the vicious murders of several of their workers, by the Taliban terrorist group, who claimed it was due to them preaching Christianity.

A British doctor, six Americans, one German and two people from Afghanistan, were murdered by the Taliban, for being Christian, when all they were doing is delivering crucial medical supplies to impoverished pregnant women in the region.

The murders were acts of cowardice against unarmed charity workers trying to help those in need. If the Taliban thinks it endears them to the world they are sorely mistaken.

Devastated Christian aid group pledges to continue work in Afghanistan

Monday, August 9, 2010 - KABUL -- ...Last week, with the massacre of 10 members of an eye care team in the rugged mountains of northern Afghanistan, the group suffered its greatest tragedy. Wyclef Jean Sues Haiti For The Right To Run

Wyclef Jean

Fugees rapper, Wyclef Jean, is suing the Haitian government, for rejecting him as a potential presidential candidate in the upcoming election. Jean failed to meet the Constitutional requirement, of being a resident of Haiti, for five consecutive years, prior to the election. Jean has now resorted to wasting Haitian taxpayer money, to essentially fight the nation's Constitution, as he has not abided by the rules.

What Jean needs to do is actually move to Haiti and live there for years, study politics and then apply during the next election, if he is determined to run. However, there's still the question of his character, as he is currently under investigation in America, for misappropriating tax-free charity money he collected through his charity Yele, which was meant to help the Haiti people, but has helped Jean more than anything. There are other more suitable candidates.

Should Criminals Like Lindsay Lohan Profit From Endangering The Public

Lindsay Lohan

Should celebrities like felon, Lindsay Lohan, 24, profit from their crimes that endanger the public? Lohan repeatedly drove drunk and under the influence of drugs, causing accidents and injury to other people.

However, all Lohan is gearing up for is making money from tell-all interviews, after she is released from a 90-day stretch in rehab, after a 13-day stint in jail. People that profit from such crimes should be forced to give any earnings springing from the misconduct to charity.
