"Forever Strong" is a film about a young high school rugby player, who is an alcoholic that falls afoul of the law. He is sent to a juvenile detention center, as his drinking and driving causes another human being serious injury. Namely, his girlfriend.

While incarcerated, he is forced to look at his reckless and racists ways and change them. This was a good movie that is well done. Many alcoholics and teens thinking about binge drinking, could benefit from watching this film.

Celluloid Film Review - Marmaduke

20th Century Fox decided to recycle its hit "Marley And Me" with the film "Marmaduke" which also stars, Owen Wilson. "Marmaduke" is about a dog that refuses to listen to instructions, reeking havoc on the Pace family and their home.

Due to a change in employment, the Pace family relocates to Orange County, California, where the pooch gets into more trouble than ever. The film was entertaining, but ounce again, a movie geared towards kids, had age inappropriate music in it, namely "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye. Show of hands, how many parents want their preteen and teen kids singing said song.

Celluloid Film Review - My Fake Fiancé

Title: My Fake Fiancé

Year Of Release: 2009

Review Date: September 30, 2010

Rating: PG

Running time: 90 minutes

Box Office Gross: N/A

Site Rating: 6 out of 10 stars

"My Fake Fiancé" stars Melissa Joan Hart (Jennifer) and Joey Lawrence (Vince), as two people that meet at a wedding and absolutely irritate each other, then due to financial hardships, decide to get married for the gifts and money they will receive from wedding guests. Well, at least they're not superficial (sarcasm).

However, his money problems become greater than hers, due to the mafia leaning on him for a large sum of money, whilst oddly insisting on being invited to the wedding, that they do not realize is a sham, as the couple are not in love.

However, after spending time with each other, the two actually fall in love, even though they deny it for the majority of the film. To save money, the two shack up together, without having sex, which is still not a good idea before marriage. There's nothing wrong with being old fashioned.

The end of the movie is very nice and capped off an entertaining and touching film. Hart and Lawrence are very believable and endearing in their roles.

Celluloid Film Review - Pop Star

Title: Pop Star

Year Of Release: 2005

Review Date: September 30, 2010

Rating: PG

Running time: 94 minutes

Box Office Gross: N/A

Site Rating: 2 out of 10 stars

Pop star Aaron Carter, stars as what else, a pop star, in a film called, well, "Pop Star." Carter plays, J.D. McQueen, a teen pop singer, who decided to drop the tutors and go to a regular high school, as being a child star, his grades begin to suffer.

He meets pretty, Alan Austin, a very intelligent, yet somewhat geeky, high school student that makes great grades. He asks her to tutor him and she accepts, hoping he will fall in love with her. A few problems do arise, but I won't ruin the ending for you (like you're really gonna watch it) but it is a cute one, albeit cheesier than cheddar.

However, this movie kind of disturbed me, because Lou Perlman is in it, as he financed it. As some of you may know at this point, Perlman is in jail for running a massive ponzi scheme and even worse, the teenage boybands he used to manage, have since stated in interviews, he would sexually prey on some of them. Do keep in mind, some of these boys were underage at the time.

Celluloid Film Review - Crimes Of Fashion

"Crimes of Fashion" stars, Megan Fox, pre-nose job, as a phony, mean, stuck up fashionista. So yea, she was basically playing herself, then. Fox's character, Candace, terrorizes frumpy, but nice rival, Brooke, while they attend fashion college.

Candace pretends she is the best designer at the college, but is not what she appears. While Brooke finds out her grandfather is in the mob and wants her to take over the family business. This movie was somewhat entertaining. It made me laugh for all the wrong reasons.

Celluloid Film Review - Motherhood

Title: Motherhood

Year Of Release: 2010

Review Date: September 30, 2010

Rating: PG-13

Running time: minutes

Box Office Gross: N/A

Sometimes a movie flops, because it wasn't marketed properly, but is still a good watch. This isn't one of those movies. "Motherhood" was the biggest major studio flop of the year, with some cities reporting only one person bought a ticket and after viewing this movie, I can see why.

First of all, a film about motherhood, is supposed to be inspiring and tasteful. This film was crass, crude and vulgar. It's not the type of film you would gain any inspiration from. It is so jaded and Hollywood, very few could appreciate it's insane take on motherhood (which explains why so many celebrity kids are messed up). The Celluloid Film Review does not recommend this movie at all.

Study: Prayer Heals

A recently published mainstream study stated "Prayer Heals." This is something Christians have known for centuries. Many Christians have witnessed as people struggling with life threatening infirmities, made miraculous recoveries. Christians have experienced this as well. Faith is able to make a tremendous difference in people's lives and should never be underestimated.

Prayer heals, study finds

Prayer heals when it's close-up and personal, and there's a study to prove it. It's not just any kind of prayer, but "proximal intercessory prayer," or PIP -- when one or more people pray for someone in that person's presence and often with physical contact -- that was found by a team of doctors, scientists and religious experts to have remarkable results in healing some patients.

A team of medical doctors and scientists led by Indiana University professor of religion Candy Gunther Brown found in the study, conducted in rural Mozambique, that prayer brought "highly significant" improvements to hearing-impaired participants and significant changes to the visually impaired...

SPIRITUAL Looking Back?

Looking back is not always a good thing. It is good to look back and reminisce on positive times in one's life, but to peer into the past to dwell on the negative, will only upset you and cause unnecessary sadness. This is why it is important to look forward, hopeful of a positive future, through faith in God. You are never too old to start again and make great new memories.

Obama Tells Supporters "Stop Whining"

U.S. President Barack Obama

On September 28, 2010, U.S. President Barack Obama, publicly told supporters to "Stop whining." The Judiciary Report found this very ironic. Two weeks prior to the President saying so to his supporters, on September 14. 2010, in the Judiciary Report article "Teen Banned From America For Calling Obama A Penis" this website told Obama the same, advising him to "Stop Whining."

"The Judiciary Report's advice to Obama is to grow up. You're almost 50. Stop whining about everyone not being your friend and "talking about you like a dog." You're in politics - you should be used to that by now." - September 14. 2010

Side Bar: you do realize getting upset with your supporters and telling them to stop whining, constituted additional whining on your part. It's a vicious cycle. And what's with your obsession in referring to yourself as a dog. You keep doing that. While, I know you get most of your financial advice from First Dog Bo, must you keep saying such things.

Bo: my advice is to spend, spend, spend!
